Cami is an approximately 2 year old Australian Shepherd mix. She is up to date on her shots and spayed. She is house broken, will sleep in a crate at night, if that is what you want. But she is fine
not being in one. She WILL let you know if she needs to go out.  But during the day, if she is left on her own, I would advise crating her.  She is a loveable, sweet and energetic girl. She loves to play with toys, but they need to be tough ones. Being the breed that she is, she tries to herd everyone; other dogs & humans. She is good with dogs her size and a little larger, but she is maybe a little rough for small dogs. Not harmful, just rambunctious. She will pick up shoes and carry them around, but hasn't actually chewed them. And will get into the trash if it is there and don't leave anything on the edge of the counter. But the lap cuddles make up for any mischief. Her former owners had young children and said that Cami was wonderful with them.  I have to take their word for that as we don't know first hand.  She came to us as an emergency as her owners were being shipped out to Japan and they had to find a home for her or surrender her to Tri County Animal Shelter. We just didn't want to let that happen. So we took a chance. She is just too much for us. She is too rough for our older beagle. We do love her, but she really needs to be with a family that can keep up with her.
