Barry, Felix, David and their sister Holly - not yet available - were all rescued from our local animal shelter when they were 9 days old. They were turned in by their owner with their mom to be euthanized :( Their mother was bitten by a brown recluse spider and her owner did not get her medical treatment. Her leg then became necrotic and was rotting off and she could not be saved. Instead of euthanizing the puppies the shelter called ARF to see if we had any volunteers to bottle feed them. Lucky for these little puppies we did =) Barry, Holly, Felix and David have all done great without a four legged mom and have thrived and grown!! They are happy healthy little heavy weights - the boys anyway - that need a loving home of their own.
