Thunder was turned in to our local animal shelter by the son in law of an elderly man that had become unable to care for him.  Unfortunately he came to us in pretty bad shape.  his body was completely matted and his toenails were really long.  We got him shaved down and cleaned up.  He was then having a problem with his penis because the hair was matted completely around it and everytime he urinasted the urine was just trapped all around it.  He is doing much better now but will still need some follow up care.  He is a shy little guy that needs someone with patience.  He is doing much better physically and mentally but he has had a rough last few years.
