Alexis & Dylan were rescued out of the local shelter after they were dumped there by who we suspect is a "backyard breeder". They are a bit on the shy side and will need a understanding owner. Alexis gets along with other cats---dogs seem to make her alittle nervous, but not too bad and she does fine with older, cat-savy children (5 years ond up). Her long coat will require some grooming upkeep--either done at home by yourself or professionally at a groomer's shop to keep them tangle free. Alexis is the smallest one and initially was a bit shyer than Dylan, but she has responded remarkable well in foster care to the daily attention she receives. Update: Alexis is making wonderful progress! She is actively exploring on her own and will seek out people for affection and attention. If you present her with an empty lap---she will plant herself in it! :) She's still alittle hesitant about being picked up and held, but we'll keep working with her on that!
