Emma is a front declawed kitty that was rescued after she was abandoned and dumped outdoors last fall. She was very thin and very dirty when she was rescued. Being declawed, her chances at catching mice were slim to none, so she managed to survive (just barely!) by raiding garbage cans and tearing into garbage bags. Emma was adopted a few months ago but due to her adopter's unforseen declining health problems, her adopter can no longer continue to care for Emma. So Emma was returned to us so she can find a new home. Emma is a very calm, easy-going, friendly kitty that loves to nap in a sunny window. She's somewhat of a couch-potato, but she does LOVE her catnip! She does well with children. She gets along with other cats just fine as long as the other cats don't bully or pester her. She's looking for a home where she will be loved and cherished for the rest of her days.
