Poppy was turned into our local animal shelter along with her brother and unborn puppy. The shelter did not want her to have her baby with all of the stress being turned in causes so they called us to rescue her. She had 2 puppies but one did not survive. She has raised her other baby and she is now ready to find a loving home of her own. She is nervous around men (she has never tried to bite) but seems to love all others. Poppy is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment---she is available for adoption, but her adoptive home will need to continue with the treatment until she is better.
