Bambi was found as a stray and no one was looking for her.  She was really scared and shy when she came to us.  Good news is she has now come out of her shell and is loving time with her foster family.  Bad news is, even aa young as she is, she has tested positive for heartworms.  She will be treated for heartworms but can be adopted soon after her treatment.  She will need to be quiet for 6 weeks after her treatment but the treatment is normally safe and effective.
