Eeyore was found as a stray and was almost hit by a car a few times on the road. A good samaritan took him in but could not keep him. He was turned over to animal control and went to our local animal shelter. Eeyore is at least 10 years old, maybe older, was not neutered and had a large tumor hanging from the bottom of one of his eyelids. His chances of being adopted were slim to none :( I went to the shelter to meet him and he was the happiest old man:) He was wagging his tail so hard it started going in circles - what we in rescue commonly refer to as helicopter tail. He liked all the new dogs and cats he met walking around the shelter. He did not mark or pee on EVERYTHING he came across even though he was not neuteted. ARF wanted to give this super sweet old guy another chance!! Eeyore has now been neutered, tested negative for heartworms, lyme, erchlicia and anaplasmosis, had his large eye tumor and a few other smaller ones removed and is up to date on his shots. Eeyore may be a little hard of hearing and have some senility issues. He is doing well with his crate and goes potty outside every time he goes out. If you have room in your home and heart for this sweet old man please come to our adoption day to meet him.
Eeyore loves car rides and short walks.
