This poor guy was running at large on our local navy base for over 2 weeks.  Some of the guys working there tried to catch him several times but could not.  One guy was deteremined to catch him as he knew he could not survive on his own for too much longer.  He got in his van and tired him out until he could get close to him.  He did it!!  He opened his van door and Admiral jumped in.  He then tried to bite him when he tried to get him out but that was understandable - he had a rough day.  He was skin and bones and covered in ticks when we got him.  We put found dog reports in and no one was looking for him.  He has gained 5 pounds in a week and is looking good. He is doing much better with people but still need someone with patience and love that can give him time to overcome being abandoned and having to fend for himself.
