ARF is commited to any animal we take in for its entire life.  Though Gretchen was adopted years ago, her adopter fell into a situation where he could no longer care for her.  We are sad when this happens, but are strong in our promise and have taken Gretchen into our care once again.  She's now a senior girl, but still very active.  There's no reason she should be passed over for a younger dog.  She's incredibly sweet and eager to please.  She is an all around good dog, who just wants a place to curl up, food in her bowl, and a human to hug.
