Possum was found as a stray and looked like he had been through a lot (see before pictures below).  He had sarcoptic mange, was blind, deaf, positive for Lyme and erchlicia, had hookworms and roundworms and was heartworm positive.  We have fixed all that ails him, besides his blindness, but he can hear a little now that some of the swelling has gone down.  We have also not treated him for heartworms because of his age and all the other health issues he has and have opted for the slow kill method as to not kill him.  He is a sweet old man and just wants to live a laid back life getting help with his walks and the occasional full body scratch
