Alice was rescued from a local animal shelter after her previous owner, a backyard breeder/puppy miller, dumped her there.  She was actually one of the lucky ones that made it to the shelter as some of the dogs she was getting "rid" of were thrown from her moving vehicle as she drove to the shelters.  Alice was very pregnant when we got her and was too far along to spay.  She had 4 wonderful little puppies and has raised them well :)  She is now looking for a loving home of her own.  She is a little protective of her babies at this time but we think she will be ok with other dogs.  If interested please stop by and see her at our adoption day.
