She had been waiting at the shelter for nearly 4 months.  They called her "Acorn."  Since she has one spot of black on her back, we've called her, "Dot" and she seems to respond to the name quite well.  Dot is enthusiastic about most anything... toys, people, animals, car-rides, training, belly-rubs, playing, jogs and walks.  She is slighly dominant, in that she'll instigate play, rather than invite it.  She wags, paws and nips to get my older dog to give her some attention, but in a gentle way.  She desperatly wants the cat to play too, but with a stern "LEAVE IT" she'll back off.  Though she was a stray, she seems to have had some basic obedience training.  She can SIT, LIE DOWN, HEEL and FETCH.  She is quickly learning "LEAVE IT" so we can have some control during play and walks. Generally, she's playful, silly and fun, without being hyper.  If asked to lie down, she will, and snore herself to sleep.  She is eager to learn and will make someone a loving companion.  Dot will need a home familiar with the bully breed personality.
