Badger was turned in because his owner became homeless and could not care for him. He came from a home with 4 children and he did great with them. He is housebroken and walks well on a leash. He is a nice little guy who might be a mix of Miniature Pinscher, Rat Terrier, Beagle and/or Chihuahua. He's about 15 lbs with a shiny black coat and inquisitive eyes. He LOVES to be on a lap.... any human lap. However, he also becomes a bit jealous if another animal moves in. He responds well with a reprimand, so he'll be fine in a home with another submissive dog. He is okay with the foster family's cat, as well, but wants to be dominant. He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once he's assured they are okay, he is happy to share snuggles and play time. He doesn't seem to know any special tricks, but does like to play tug and chase. He's a happy 5 year old with many more years to enjoy a stable family of his own. He is currently in a foster home with 2 adults, 2 young teens, another dog, cat and mini pig.
