Jake was rescued from a person that was interested in making Lab mix puppies to sell but things did not work out so he needed a new home.  Jake was raised with children and likes meeting new people. FOSTER NOTES:  Jake is an all-around good dog.  He's playful (loves fetch, of course), smart (knows a few tricks) and trainable.  He's not super hyper, but is still learning some self-control.  He is trainable with the cat in the residence and completely fine with the other dog.  He loves men and kids. He's thin, but we're working on that.  He has a beautiful coat and heart-melting eyes.  Jake would do well in a variety of enviroments as long as he gets a daily walk or game of fetch.  He craves attention, and is very loving, but will be content to lay on the floor next to you if told to do so.
